5) Sword of Damocles = An impending danger.
The possibility of a war is hanging over our heads like a sword of Damocles.
6) Be a die hard = Stubborn.
Diehards in Pakistan want terrorism to suffer the death penalty.
7) To die hard = Change with a great difficulty.
Old habits die hard.
8) Dance attendance upon = Wait on somebody always.
The poor boy dances attendance upon the manager of the hotel in the vain hope of getting a job.
9) Dig one's own grave = Do something which results in one's own downfall.
By developing enmity with the police, he has dug his own grave.
10) Double-dealing = Deceiving.
Fraud and double-dealing have come to stay as an essential feature of the modern man.
